How to Promote Feet Pics on Reddit, X and Instagram

A marketplace brings some buyers to you, but many sellers grow faster by sharing safe previews on social media and pointing interested people to their profile. Each platform has very different rules. Break them and you lose the account, so here is what each one allows and how to work within it.

Ground rules for every platform

  • Use separate accounts created with your selling email, never linked to your personal profiles. See our privacy guide for the full setup.
  • Read the rules first, both the platform’s own policies and, on Reddit, each community’s rules.
  • Post previews, not products. Share cropped or lower resolution teasers and keep full sets on your selling platform.
  • Keep it non explicit. Even where a platform allows adult content, restrained previews are less likely to be reported and travel further.
  • Never take payment in DMs. Send people to your profile and let the platform handle payment. Our scams guide explains why.
  • Link your own profile, honestly. FeetFinder’s Terms allow linking to its pages in a way that is fair and legal, but not in a way that suggests FeetFinder endorses you.

Reddit

Reddit is organised into communities, and many exist specifically for feet content, including some that allow sellers to post. It rewards genuine participation and punishes spam.

What Reddit’s rules say

Reddit’s sitewide rules require you to abide by community rules and not spam or manipulate content (Rule 2), to label content properly, particularly anything sexually explicit (Rule 6), and to be authentic without impersonating anyone (Rule 5). Communities and accounts that break these rules can be restricted or banned.

How to promote on Reddit without getting banned

  • Check each community’s sidebar and pinned posts. Many require a verification post before you can share links, limit how often you may post, or ban selling entirely. Some set minimum account age or karma.
  • Tag posts correctly. Use the NSFW label where a community or Reddit requires it. Not tagging is a fast route to removal.
  • Participate, do not just drop links. Comment, answer questions from new sellers, and share some posts without a sales link. Accounts that only post links look like spam to both moderators and filters.
  • Space out your posts. Posting the same image to many communities at once is a classic spam signal.
  • Put your link in your profile where communities do not allow links in posts, and follow any rules about mentioning it.

X

X allows consensually produced adult content as long as it is labelled and not prominently displayed. That gives sellers more room than other mainstream platforms, but the labelling rules matter. X’s policy is published in its help centre under adult content.

Set up your account correctly

  • Mark your media as sensitive. In your settings under privacy and safety, there is an option to mark media you post as containing material that may be sensitive. If you post this kind of content regularly, turn it on for the whole account rather than labelling post by post.
  • Keep your profile picture and header image non explicit. X does not allow adult content in profile pictures or banners.
  • Use your bio and a pinned post to explain what you offer and link to your profile on your selling platform.

Growing on X

Post consistently, use relevant hashtags sparingly, and engage with other creators and buyers in public replies. Avoid mass tagging, follow for follow schemes and repetitive automated replies, which X treats as platform manipulation. Expect that labelled media will be hidden from some users by default, so captions and your pinned post do a lot of work.

Instagram

Instagram is the strictest of the three. Meta’s policy on adult sexual solicitation and sexually explicit language restricts content that offers or asks for sexual content, and accounts that combine suggestive imagery with links to paid adult content are often restricted or removed.

If you use Instagram at all

  • Treat it as a portfolio, not a shop. Share clean, artistic, plainly non sexual photos: pedicures, shoes, beach shots, styling.
  • Avoid sexual captions, emojis and hashtags, and do not solicit buyers in comments or DMs.
  • Do not rely on it. Accounts can be restricted without warning, so make sure buyers can always find you through your selling profile or other channels.

Many sellers decide Instagram is not worth the risk and focus on Reddit and X instead.

Pointing buyers to your FeetFinder profile

  1. Use the same display name everywhere so buyers who see you on Reddit or X can find you on the marketplace.
  2. Link to your own profile page, not to a generic homepage. Copy your public profile address from your account.
  3. Match your previews to your listings. If a teaser comes from a set, mention the set name so buyers can find it straight away.
  4. Keep your listings fresh. Promotion works best when someone who clicks through finds recent sets, not an empty profile.
  5. Track what works. Note which posts led to messages or sales and do more of those.

What not to do

  • Buying followers, upvotes or engagement. It breaks platform rules and the audience never buys.
  • Sending unsolicited DMs to strangers. It is spam on every platform.
  • Reposting other sellers’ images, even as examples.
  • Promoting in communities or hashtags that are clearly not about adult content.
  • Sharing anything that reveals your location or real identity. Run every image through the checklist in our photo tips guide.

Frequently asked questions

Can I promote feet pics on Reddit?

Yes, in communities that allow it. Reddit’s rules require you to follow each community’s rules, avoid spam and label content properly. Many communities require verification or limit how often you can post links, so read the sidebar first.

How do I mark my posts as sensitive on X?

X has a setting under privacy and safety to mark the media you post as containing material that may be sensitive. Turning it on for your whole account is simplest if you post this kind of content regularly. Profile pictures and banners must stay non explicit.

Is it safe to promote feet pics on Instagram?

It is risky. Meta restricts content that offers or solicits sexual content, and accounts linking to paid adult content are often restricted. If you use Instagram, keep it as a non sexual portfolio and do not depend on it.

Where should I send buyers who find me on social media?

Send them to your own profile on your selling platform, using the same display name everywhere, and keep payment on the platform rather than in DMs.
